Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro .  He was born on  5 February 1985. Born and raised on the Portuguese island of Madeira.  By age 14, Ronaldo believed he had the ability to play semi-professionally, and agreed with his mother to cease his education in order to focus entirely on football. At the age of 15  he was diagnosed with a racing heart, a condition that could have forced him to give up playing football he underwent an operation to treat his condition, and began his senior club training. 

                            

 Cristiano Ronaldo is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a forward  for Spanish club, Real Madrid and the Portugal national team . Ronaldo has four FIFA Ballon D awards, and is the first player in history to win four European Golden shoes . He has won 22 trophies in his career, including five league  titles , four UEFA Champions League titles and one UEFA European Championship .

                         

 A prolific goalscorer, Ronaldo holds the records for most official goals scored in the top five European leagues , as well as the most goals scored in a UEFA  champions league . He has scored more than  600 senior  career goals for club and country.
